Anointing for Divine Refreshing by Pastor Emmanuel S. Olowokere. Feb 28, 2010. Watch photo album of the service
Amos 3:7 says “Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” This means that there are people who know what God’s plans are. Moses was an example as Psalms 103:7 reveals “He [God] made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.”
Thankfully you and I can claim to be in this exclusive league since we are not ignorant of God’s plans for this month which is: “March, Our Month of Divine Refreshing.”
And if there’s anything else we know about God, it’s that whatever He says is guaranteed or unfailing. Numbers 23:19 assures us of the dependability of His word: God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
You may wonder what the many dimensions of Divine Refreshing are.
They include: something very lifting, something inspirational, revitalizing, stimulating, energizing, innovative, and something very good.
What are the signs of refreshing?
1. Rest. For instance, the works of your hands begin to experience rest. Exodus 23:10-12
2. You become an agent of refreshing to others. 1 Samuel 16:20-23
3. Oppression ceases to exist.
4. Celebration or rejoicing overwhelms you. Philemon 1:6-7
5. Absence of shame. 2 Timothy 1:15-16
What part of your life must experience Divine Refreshing?
